Bethany Marshall, Ph.D., Psy.D., M.F.T. has been in private practice as a Psychoanalyst and a Marriage and Family Therapist in both Beverly Hills and Pasadena for the past twenty years. She is a weekly commentator on HLN’s The Nancy Grace Show and frequently appears on ABC’s Good Morning America and Leeza Gibbon’s nationally syndicated radio show Hollywood Confidential.

Dr. Marshall was born in Zaire, Africa and received a Bachelors in Fine Art from Judson University in Chicago, Illinois (1983), a Masters of Divinity and a Masters in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA (1987) and both a Doctor of Psychoanalysis and a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychoanalysis from the Los Angeles Institute and Society for Psychoanalytic Studies (2006).

Dr. Marshall is the author of Deal Breakers: When to Work on a Relationship and When to Walk Away, published by Simon Spotlight in 2007.

Dr. Marshall comments on a wide variety of psychological topics pertaining to breaking news. These topics include, but are not limited to, relationship and marital issues, anxiety and depression, post-traumatic stress, forensic psychology, domestic abuse, and childhood sexual abuse.
